Alex had fall break from school- and I am always on fall break- so we were off to Disneyland with Boo. Madsen made the cut and was able to come- Ruby was left behind. Little did she know....

My dad drove over from San Diego and met up with us for Madsen's first trip to Disneyland. I have to say-Madsen got an A+ on the trip. He went on EVERY ride! Splash Mountain, Tower of Terror (he did say after he didnt like that one) space mountain, the matterhorn... on and on. He was the best part.

I possibly felt a little bad for Ruby - You can see that by all the crap we brought back for her. She loves Nala and pushes Minnie around in her stroller. She was thrilled with all of her new goods.

Ruby is always up for a trip to Target. She gets popcorn and an icee upon arrival and then camps out in the cart and opens everything I put in there.

Ruby is always along for the ride to drop Madsen off at school. She waves bye to him and then realizes she is not getting out.

Ruby loves to go next door to Jason's parents and pet Lucy through the fence. She loves dogs but only when they are contained. I am sure Lucy likes to lick whatever Ruby has stuck to her fingers.

We took the kids up to Snowbird for Oktoberfest. Ruby is always getting into something and Madsen follows to keep tabs.

Ruby hanging out with Henry and LeRoy. Little did we know... Ruby fed Henry his first solid food- a cheese quesadilla. Henry was bummed when we noticed and dug it out.

How can I resist giving him Candy Corn at 9pm when he walks in with this face?

We love to go to HI- Sushi in foothill village. Ruby and Madsen chow down. Not to mention- the staff thinks they are cute. Until we leave and half of our meal is on the ground..

Summer 2011

A quick rundown of the Summer... I only have my camera about half the time.

Okland Grandkids in the bath. Based on Ruby's face I would not want to be in this water. My kids love when Ben and Kate come to town. Madsen loves Ben and Ruby follows around Kate Kate.

Summer trip to SunValley- It was the best weather - Madsen and Ruby had a blast.

Always a trip to the ER on a vacation.

I love this time of night. This was 10 minutes before Madsen put his head through the wall. I told my dad to send me a bill. If he really sent me a bill for the damage these two caused....

They rode bikes most of the day- having "road rally's"

My dad kept taking us to his favorite places. The staff would know him- I think by the end of each meal he was sorry he took us places where people know him.

Jason took Madsen on his first fishing trip and they spent the night at the cabin. Madsen still talks about catching a fish everyday.
Ruby and Ava would sit at the pool all summer and watch their brothers take swimming lessons. This picture is so funny because Ava is just older than Ruby. Ruby looks like she could eat her for lunch. I hope they find it funny one day!
Madsen played on the Yankees Tee Ball team this summer. He loved to bat - but he would get bored in the field when all the kids run after the ball.

Happy Easter

This is as good as it gets. Madsen was bugged that he had to stop golfing for 5 seconds and take a photo.

Ruby is "helping" dye Easter Eggs... She wasnt invited to see HOP so I guess we can let her help. Her way of helping was spilling the dye, eating the stick and throwing eggs on the floor. Gotta love the 1 year old.

We drove to AZ to see Jamie and Jenny. Long drive- but a very fun trip. Madsen who never takes naps slept for 4 hours when he left Ben and Kate. I guess partying all day is exhausting.

When Madsen was potty trained I told him he could go to build a bear. So he picked a lady bug with wings and a skateboard to go with it. Also when we got to the mall- He was not wearing this rain jacket or boots. He put them on and demanded to wear them home. This kid already knows how to work me over.
